Business Professionals of America Day was hosted by the Columbus Blue Jackets! On November 9, 2023, more than 1000 BPA students from all over Ohio, including the ZT BPA chapter, were extended an invitation to Nationwide Arena. A panel of executives from the Columbus Blue Jackets led discussions on marketing, product development, and ticket sales, providing valuable insights into the business side of the organization. In addition to the informative sessions, participants engaged in other activities such as ice skating and a comprehensive tour of Nationwide Arena, where they learned about the arena's history. A big thank you to Zane Trace, Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center, and the Columbus Blue Jackets for the opportunity to participate. We eagerly anticipate the possibility of attending again next year! Go Jackets!

Nearly 50 different careers and colleges met with grades 10-12 at the Zane Trace College and Career Fair held this morning. Mrs. Johnston and our ZT FFA students helped organize the event from contacting representatives to organizing the setup. A great experience for our students in the FFA! We greatly appreciate all of the career and college representatives that came out today to meet and visit with our students. Many of our students are still trying to figure out what path they make take after high school, so the interactions made with each student could have helped them start carving their path! Thank you to all that were involved in making this event a success!
