The 48th Annual ZT FFA Sausage Breakfast was a success! Our students in the FFA program began preparing for this event in early January. This past week, they spent the week preparing the sausage and getting all the needed materials ready for the event. They could not have achieved this without the assistance of several parents and the guidance our great cafeteria staff! Big thanks to Todd Jean for stepping in to help lead the students in the preparations for the event. A great team effort!

🎓 We are proud to celebrate our Zane Trace High School students who have earned professional IT and aviation certifications! These achievements are proudly displayed on Mrs. Thornton’s classroom door for the entire school to see.

Each badge represents an individual certification earned, and many students have earned multiple certifications, highlighting their dedication and continued growth. This display is a work in progress, with more students still to be added as they complete additional certifications.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and dedication as they prepare for future careers. Keep it up! ❤️💙

Congratulations to the Zane Trace High School Band members who participated in Ohio Music Education Association District 16 Solo and Ensemble on Saturday, January 17th at Unioto! Everyone performed well and received either a Superior or Excellent Rating on all Class A and B pieces.
Sam Goodman earned a Superior on his Class A Snare Solo.
Scarlett Chaney earned a Superior on her Class B Trumpet Solo.
Andrea Carroll earned a Superior on her Class B Bass Clarinet Solo.
Vernon Holdren earned an Excellent on his Class A Tuba Solo.
Madalyn Lombardo earned an Excellent on her Class B Clarinet Solo.
The ZT Percussion Ensemble earned a Superior on their Class B piece. Members included: Sam Goodman, Addison Gawelek, Chloe Johnson, Carly Picklesimer, Emily Goodman, and Annabell Jaynes.
The Clarinet Quartet earned an Excellent on their Class B piece. Members included: Madalyn Lombardo, Andrea Carroll, Addison Gawelek, and Natalie Boltenhouse.
Special shoutout to Addison Gawelek for participating in both the Percussion Ensemble and Clarinet Quartet (and currently on month two of playing clarinet)!
Shoutout to our soloists for all of the extra work they put in, almost completely on their own!
It takes a lot of courage to perform for adjudicators and the public as part of a Large Ensemble, but it takes even more to do so alone or in small groups and being the only person on your part. Thank you for all of your efforts!
Way to go, Pioneers!
