UCA Disney Varsity Spirit Spectacular!!!
Ali Payton was chosen this past summer at a UCA camp to be an All-American cheerleader.
Below are pictures of the parade. The cheerleaders led the parade with Ali being front and center.
The week ended with Ali getting to meet Mickey and Minnie at a character breakfast.
Also pictured are some new friends from Wisconsin, Alaska, and all of the Ohio cheerleaders.

Former Zane Trace aviation student Isaac Thornton assisted current aviation students in capturing breathtaking drone photos of the Zane Trace vs. Unioto rivalry football game.
The Zane Trace FFA Chapter hosted their Carve Your Path Career Day this morning! This is the second year in a row for the event. Led by Mrs. Jennifer Johnston, students ' in our FFA have been connecting with a variety of career representatives to organize the event. As a result of their hard work, all juniors and seniors got to visit and speak to nearly 50 representatives from a variety of colleges and careers today.
We appreciate everyone that came out to present to our students today!

We’re excited to announce that 52% of Mrs. Thornton's high school Information Technology students attempted the Microsoft Office Word Specialist certification offered to them this week, and they all passed with flying colors!
This 100% pass rate is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and our program's commitment to excellence. Congratulations to our amazing students! Keep up the fantastic work!
The Aviation students at Zane Trace High School practiced their drone photography skills today, capturing stunning aerial shots and honing their abilities to control drones with precision. Through this hands-on experience, they are not only developing technical expertise but also learning to create visually compelling images from unique perspectives.

Daily Announcements
A representative from Ohio University will be here on Friday, October 11 during lunch in the Media Center. Any 11th or 12th grader interested in attending please sign up in the Guidance Office.
Stall Day will be on October 16th. Students, please bring in as many coins as possible! The money will go toward the Zane Trace District Food Pantry. The class that raises the most money will win a donut party!
A Junior and Senior Class officer meeting will be during lunch on October 8th.
The MADE Rally is October 25th. If you want to attend the MADE Rally, get your application and money ASAP.
The ASVAB (eligibility for Military enlistment) will be on Thursday, October 10th for students who registered.
10th Graders will be meeting with a career coach to discuss their results. Please bring your Chromebook and headphones to the Media Center when your name is called. Please go to your school email and click on the Zoom Link. Teachers, please see your email for the student's scheduled date and time.

There will be a meeting for any high school student interested in bowling this winter in the High School Media Center on October 9th at 6:00 PM. Please plan to attend if you are interested.
The art club is selling candy bars as an art fundraiser for extra classroom supplies. If you would like to purchase one, the cost is $1. Be sure to purchase before first period, or after eighth period.

The Zane Trace High School Newsletter will be delivered to the Kingston Market, Pizza Pioneer, and Young's Family Market next week. Attached to the newsletter will be the Counselor's Corner, which is prepared by our school counselor, Mrs. Myers.
