Wyatt Vick, a senior, placed third this morning at the SVC Cross Country meet, hosted at Adena. Isaac Detty, a sophomore, placed 11th. Congratulations to all the HS boys on winning third place overall. On the girls side, Lydia Delong, a junior, placed 17th and Kaitlyn McDowell, a senior, finished 21st. First 9 weeks PBIS award winners will be announced next week. Any student that had no discipline referrals, no grades below a “C”, and had perfect attendance (medical absences excluded) will be invited to a pizza party in the gym on Friday, November 3rd. Tomorrow there will be a BPA meeting for all chapter members during lunch in Ms. Black’s room. There will be series of four ACT test prep workshops held at Zane Trace High School for juniors that will be taking the ACT test in February. There is a meeting for parents of students interested in attending the workshops on Monday, November 6th at 5:30 p.m. in the media center. Mrs. Jami Massie will be running the workshops. A flier with workshop dates and more information will be available soon.

10/6/2023 Announcements -A Pickaway Ross Career and Technology Center Representative will speak to our sophomores this morning at 9 a.m. in the high school gym. - The pep rally will begin at 1 p.m. today in the high school gym. Cheerleaders will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m. to prepare the rally. The rest of the students will be dismissed by PA. -We will be hosting a powderpuff football game on Sunday, November 5th at 5pm on the football field. An email has been sent out by Mrs. Morton to sign up to participate. 10/4/2023 Announcements -Any 11th and 12th grade student who wants to take the ASVAB must register in the guidance office by Friday, October 13. The test will be on October 25th. -There is a MADE ambassador’s meeting today in Mrs. Wolfe’s room. -Anyone interested in joining the Zane Trace High School Quiz Bowl Team can bring their lunch to room 270 this Friday, October 6th for information and to practice with the buzzers and questions. -There is a pep rally on Friday. The pep rally will begin at 1 p.m. in the high school gym. -A reminder that the 1st nine weeks grading period ends on Friday, October 13th. Talk to your teachers, ask questions, and keep those grades up! -Remember, watch your attendance. If you have more than 7 unexcused absences in a 9 week period for a class, your grade will drop to a 69%. -Lastly, please do not stuff anything in the toilets. Our custodial staff works very hard and they do not need to spend extra time out of their day to unclog them.
