There is a two hour delay tomorrow, Friday, February 2nd for students.
The ZT FFA Sausage Breakfast is tomorrow from 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. Kickstart your day with a great breakfast that our FFA students have been working hard to prepare all week.
There is an NHS meeting for current and eligible students today at 9:30 a.m. to review the application process. The meeting will take place in the cafeteria.

Girls finished 2nd of 4 teams.
Boys finished 1st of 4 teams
Mariska Wax finished 1st in the 100 freestyle
Caitlin DiBenedetto finished 1st in the 100 backstroke
The girls 400 relay team finished first.
Josh Young finished first in the 50 and 100 freestyle.
Wyatt Vick finished first in the 100 breaststroke and 200 freestyle
Isaac Detty first in the 500 freestyle
The boys 200 medley and 400 relay teams finished first.

Ten individuals placed in their respective weight classes!
Riley Hartsaugh won his weight class and had the top bench press in the middleweight division at 265 lbs.
Caden Jones had the top bench press in the heavyweight division at 345 lbs.
Our boys basketball team defeated Piketon, 53-49, in overtime to improve to 7-2 in the league!

The Triple Crown Family Center was the home of our second nine weeks PBIS reward. The students on the trip got to spend two hours enjoying all the fun activities Triple Crown has to offer.
A group of students in Mrs. Johnston's Ag. Food and Natural Resources class did very well teaching a second grade class how to make sausage today.
Our annual Zane Trace FFA Sausage Breakfast is next Friday, February 2nd from 5:00 a.m. to 9 a.m. There is a two hour delay for students on this date. If you have the chance, come out and start your day with a good breakfast provided by the ZT FFA.

Auditions for “Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr.” are on Wednesday January 31st and Thursday, February 1st from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The musical is scheduled for the weekend of April 27-28. Contact Mrs. Wilhelm at cwilhelm@ztlsd.org for more information.
Students going on the Triple Crown Trip will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. and will return at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Our Esports team competed against Cambridge and Pandora-Gilboa in the Rocket League this afternoon. We had two teams of three students. One team competed against Cambridge and the other against Pandora-Gilboa. Both teams lost their series 3-0, but had fun trying.
Our Esports team competes in the Fortnite League each Monday at 4 p.m. and the Rocket League each Wednesday at 4 p.m.
