We will acknowledge each student enrolled that has met the criteria to join the 2023-2024 ACT 25+ Club throughout the school year! All students will have the opportunity to put their name on the board themselves and they will take their name with them when they graduate. If an underclassman meets the criteria, their name could remain on the board over the span of a couple school years. This post is dedicated to Zane Pickerrell! Zane had a composite score of at least a 25 on the ACT test! Congrats, Zane! Keep up the great work!

A lot of our students came together to make an American Flag out of their hands. Each student that participated had to trace their hand and then they wrote a veteran's name and they knew on their hand. This American Flag was made to thank all the veterans in these students lives and the many others out there in community for their service. The flag is hung at the entrance near the the office. Mrs. Anita Spires came up with the idea and facilitated the project during lunch over the course of several days.

Each nine weeks, students that have no grades below a "C", no discipline referrals, and have perfect attendance (medical absences excluded) can participate in the PBIS award for that nine weeks. The first nine weeks award party was this afternoon. Students attending the event got to play a variety of games, listen to music, and eat pizza. The no cell phone policy was also lifted for those at the event. The main rule was to have fun! Each nine weeks there will be a different reward for those that meet the criteria. The second nine weeks reward will be announced soon. Potential rewards for the remainder of the year could be bowling, a movie trip, Triple Crown, etc.
