Weekend Basketball Finals 1/26/2024 Girls Basketball Southeastern 54 Zane Trace 45 Emma Houston -14 points Aubree Thomas- 14 points Our girls had recently won two games in a row prior to this contest. Keep working, ladies! 1/27/2024 Boys Basketball Zane Trace 53 Overtime Piketon 49 Landon Robinson - 17 points Landen Jarrell- 16 points The win moves our boys to 7-2 in the league! They are currently tied with Westfall for second in the league.

The Triple Crown Family Center was the home of our second nine weeks PBIS reward. The students on the trip got to spend two hours enjoying all the fun activities Triple Crown has to offer.

A group of students in Mrs. Johnston's Ag. Food and Natural Resources class did very well teaching a second grade class how to make sausage today. Our annual Zane Trace FFA Sausage Breakfast is next Friday, February 2nd from 5:00 a.m. to 9 a.m. There is a two hour delay for students on this date. If you have the chance, come out and start your day with a good breakfast provided by the ZT FFA.

1/26/24 Announcements Science Bowl Meeting today during lunch. Auditions for “Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr.” are on Wednesday January 31st and Thursday, February 1st from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The musical is scheduled for the weekend of April 27-28. Our wrestling program hosted Wellston and Paint Valley tonight. Way to work! They will next compete at the Tiger Invitational at Circleville on Saturday, February 3rd.

Our Esports team competed against Cambridge and Pandora-Gilboa in the Rocket League this afternoon. We had two teams of three students. One team competed against Cambridge and the other against Pandora-Gilboa. Both teams lost their series 3-0, but had fun trying. Our Esports team competes in the Fortnite League each Monday at 4 p.m. and the Rocket League each Wednesday at 4 p.m.

There is a bake sale today right outside the office. It will end at 10:00 a.m. Proceeds will go towards PBIS rewards/trips. There is a meeting on Thursday at lunch in the library for any girl interested in participating in soccer next school year. If you are one of the students that met the criteria to go to Triple Crown on Friday, please return your permission slip by the end of the day today if you plan on going.
