Extracurricular Highlights Zane Pickerrell is district runner-up for his respective weight class and has qualified for the OHSAA Division III State Wrestling Tournament this weekend at the Schottenstein Center! J.T. Jenkins finished sixth at districts. Great season, J.T.! Members of our science bowl team made it to the round of 8 at the South Central Ohio Science Bowl on Friday, March 1st. Congratulations to our ZT Band members who auditioned for the Ohio Music Education Association District 16 Honor Bands. They will be performing at Waverly HS on April 6th! D16 High School Honor Band Maddie Lombardo, Clarinet Sarah McGraw, Clarinet Blake Knight, Alto Saxophone Silas Ruggles, Trumpet Connor Hill, Trombone Vernon Holdren, Tuba Lillian Weisenberger, Percussion Sam Goodman, Percussion Indoor State Track Results Kendra Detillion- Weight Throw 44-11 (7th) , Shot Put- 34-09 (12th) Spencer Brower- Shot Put 54–03.50 (6th) On Friday, March 1st, Luke Woods and Ethan Tackett competed in Skills USA Regionals through Pickaway Ross CTC. Luke placed 2nd in auto body collision repair and Ethan placed 2nd in Medical Math . OHSAA Division III District Wrestling Results Zane Pickerrell went 3-1 and finished as district runner-up! Zane will now compete at the OHSAA Division III State Tournament next weekend! The tournament will be held at the Jerome Schottenstein Center at Ohio State University. J.T. Jenkins went 3-3 and finished 6th at the tournament. Great season, J.T. !

There were 32 teams that participated in the South Central Ohio Science Bowl today. Our teams made it to the round of 8 before exiting the tournament! Thank you to Mr. Scott and Mr. Clark for preparing our students for this great learning experience!

2/27/24 Announcements Due to the ACT Testing, today's FCA meeting will be in Mr. Scott's room (Room 268) during lunch. The ACT test for all juniors is today. All juniors will be dismissed to the high school gym at 7:50 a.m. Please make sure your Chromebooks are fully charged before arriving to take the test. Extracurricular Highlights Kendra Detillion and Spencer Brower qualified to compete in the Indoor High High School State Championship Meet that will be held this Friday, March 1st and Saturday, March 2nd. Spencer will be competing in the shot put and Kendra the shot put and weight throw. Attention Seniors and Senior Parents: We want to showcase our Class of 2024 as we head into the final months of the school year! Members of our senior class are gearing up to either join the military, a technical school, college, or already have future employment. We are proud of all you and excited to know your future plans. Each senior or senior parent can type up a brief description of the senior's future plans to Dr. Jones. They can also send up to four pictures for the senior showcase. Email Dr. Jones at jjones@ztlsd.org. Beginning on March 11th, we will highlight each senior on the Zane Trace High School Facebook and Instagram pages. Two to three seniors will be showcased each school day up until graduation.
