Thursday, February 6, 2025, marked an incredible day for our Business Professionals of America chapter at Leadership Day with the Columbus Blue Jackets! Our students had a blast starting with an exclusive arena tour and ice skating session. They gained invaluable insights from a stellar leadership speaker panel featuring the Senior VP and Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Project Coordinator, and Grassroots Hockey Manager from the Blue Jackets, who shared their expertise on community relations, development, and marketing strategies from a leadership perspective.
The highlight? Our students engaged in OASL leadership activities, breaking the ice by meeting peers from other schools and diving into group challenges that honed critical thinking, team dynamics, and leadership skills.
To top it off, three lucky students received pucks from Utah HC team members, capping a day filled with excitement and learning.
Thank you, Columbus Blue Jackets, for an unforgettable experience culminating in an exciting game!
