Zane Trace Elementary has received the PBIS Bronze Recognition Award. This award was given for an application that was filled out with evidence of what our elementary has done to implement Positive Behavior Supports during last year. Along with PBIS, the elementary has also trained teachers with PAX strategies. These strategies help to prevent most behaviors before they happen. This proactive approach has made big differences in our elementary. These behavior strategies work with 90% of the school population of just around 500 students in Grades K-4. The team that wrote the application and collected data will be honored in Columbus on January 31.
